This all-inclusive safari offers outstanding opportunities to experience and photograph some of Tanzania’s most spectacular areas. Starting in the Ngorongoro Highlands, witness the interesting Masai culture and beautiful landscape they live in. Then spend a full day exploring the Ngorongoro Crater and all the diversity it has to offer, including the Big 5.

We’ll then continue to our Serengeti camp for the duration, exploring the long and short grass plains. We’re sure to see lions and cheetahs, and a high probability of leopards too. In addition we’ll experience the Great Migration and all the associated species; Wildebeest, Zebra, Tompson’s Gazalle, Grants Gazelle, and Eland. We’ll also see Elephant, Giraffe, Hyena’s and a myriad of other species.

Details

This safari offers non-stop photographic opportunities from start to finish, and an experienced leader that will help you make the most of these fleeting moments. With only three photographers per vehicle, you'll have an entire row of seats for you and all your gear - offering lots of room and the ability to shoot out both sides of our specially equipped safari vehicles.

May is a wonderful time to photograph the Ngorongoro Highlands/Crater and the Serengeti. The volume of tourists is a fraction of other times of the year, and the landscape is a verdant wonderland with substantially increased game viewing. This is also the best time of the year to see and photograph the big tusker elephant bulls and black rhino's in the crater. Likewise, the southeastern part of the Serengeti is alive with game activity, as the great migration and apex predators jockey for survival.

We'll plan on exploring the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) on the way to our Serengeti camp. A full days game drive ending at our Serengeti camp.
5 Fri Mar, 15
Based out of our Eastern Serengeti camp, we'll have easy access to the short grass planes and numerous kopjes - or into the longer grass regions of the central area. The great migration should not be far away, and photographing lions or cheetahs hunting is very likely.
6 Sat Mar, 16
As stated, our Eastern Serengeti camp offers productive game drives in every direction. We'll be sure to spend some time exploring the Seronera Valley, looking for the many leopards, and in the kopjes looking for lions on the rocks.
